Cambridge Open 2007

The cambridge open is a brilliant opportunity for our club to show-off to other universities how good we are and also to have a bit of a chat. The competition is on Saturday 24th November 2007. Cambridge have had regular competitions and we have a good reputation with them. Their facilities are modern and large enough to support many Universities across the country, they are as enthusiastic about Taekwondo as we are and this will be a good opportunity for you to bring back a medal. So, even if you are new to Taekwondo or have been doing the sport for years, make that a date on your calendar.

The competition is from 10 am - 5 pm, although we will be hiring a bus to arrive at 9 am for weigh-in. Your weight category and belt will group you into a tournament, so the fight is with someone around your weight and level of experience with Taekwondo. The fighting style is purely WTF, so this means no punches to the face. Other rules can be found on the www.WTF.org website.
