Cambridge Tournament Summary/Grading Info
Congratulations to all those who competed at Cambridge yesterday. There were some spirited performances all round helping the team to come in 2nd PLACE overall.
Had luck been on our side we would have (should have) come in 1st! There were some very close matches and some unfortunate decisions, but that's just the way the dice rolls.
Hopefully everyone has gained some valuable experience and will continue to improve, so we can take an even stronger squad to the Student National Championships in March.
Our aim for 2010: to leave everyone else in NO DOUBT that Ki-Taekwondo/Birmingham Uni are the strongest student Taekwondo club in the country!!
Thanks to all the coaches/judges who helped out on the day, and the drivers for getting everyone there and back. Also a big thanks to Jonny and Kiran for organising everything!
As for now.. the end of term grading is upon us! That means anyone wanting to grade needs to attend every training session between now and the 28th to ensure they are ready to grade.
The sessions left are as follows:
Sun 15th: 6-8pm
Wed 18th: 7-9pm
Fri 20th: 8-9pm
Sat 21st: 11-1pm
Sun 22nd: 6-8pm
Wed 25th: 7-9pm
Fri 27th: 8-9pm
Sat 28th: 11-1pm (before the grading)
