Last chance for Cambridge tournament 24 Novemeber

From the Club Captain (Rup) and Instructors (Dave and Terry)

As you know, the Cambridge Taekwondo Tournament is taking place on Saturday 24th November, less than 2 weeks away.

As an open competition it is primarily intended to introduce novices to competitive sparring, but all belt levels are encouraged to enter.

We will be leaving on Saturday morning from outside the Old Gym at 6.45am prompt in order to get to
Cambridge
for the weigh-in at 9am. We aim to return at 7pm, traffic permitted. Entrance costs will be £10.

The groups will be organised by weight, belt and sex, so please forward me these details if you wish to compete. I need to send the details off to
Cambridge promptly, so the sooner I get them, the sooner I can guarantee you a place at the tournament.

The list so far of people competing is as follows:

By emailing me at: rupesh_seth@hotmail.com

In order to compete (or to do anything in taekwondo), you will require a licence. If you do not have one please fill in a form at this Saturday’s training session. Licences cost £17 each, so please bring this amount with you (cash is preferable). Please see myself or Tom Moody (the yellow belt with an incredibly scruffy looking Dobok, but a kick-arse turning kick!!).

Cheers, Rup, Dave and Terry
