Elections 2008

Hi all,

Its time for a new committee. So if your interested in becoming part of the Taekwondo committee next year now is the time to put your name forward. The positions u can run for are:

Captain - coordinates the rest of the committee, and acts as the main contact with the athletic union.

Vice captain - looks after the equipment, helps out the captain when needed.

Secretary - sorts out licenses and other corespondents with the BTCB

Treasurer - keeps an eye on the budget from the AU and any funds to do with buying equipment

social secs (usually 2) - organization of social events (after grading parties, food at raising the bar, and any fun activities u want to organize)

web master - looks after the website, keeping it up to date.

Club Administrator - Helps the rest of the committee and is the media rep for the club.

To run for a position in the committee u need to be a student at bham uni, so If u fancy getting involved please send your name, the position u would like to run for to me either through facebook or my email address merrifieldruth@yahoo.co.uk

The closing date for nominations is the end of training (3pm) on the 17th of May. The elections will be held on sunday the 18th after training. If u are unable to attend this session and are a student and want to vote, then an email will be sent out on saturday evening with all the candidates on so u can vote by replying to that email by sunday night.

If u want to run but are unable to be there on the sunday please still put your name forward with a few lines about y u want the position.
