Summer Term
Hi Guys,
Hope you've all had a great Easter- Just sending out a message to say Training will be continuing as per normal this term so hope to see you all training soon.
1) Training Times
As the exams will be on in the Old Gym for a lot of the third term we'll be training in the Dance Studio in the Munrow Centre for a lot of it!!
Normal Times:
Sat - 11-1pm Old Gym (followed by Raising the Bar)
Sun- 6-8pm Old Gym
During Exam Period (9/05/09- 7/06/09):
Sat- 1-3pm Dance Studio
Sun- 4-6pm Dance Studio
2) As we're now back on Campus we all have to pay or AU Fee's too
which for this last term of training will be
Students: £15 (+ £5 Au Fees)
Non-Students: £20 (+ £5 Au Fees)
3) Quite a few people still owe the club money for Nationals, Coach fees, licences, gumshields etc- We shouldn't be having to chase you up constantly for this so can you pay up soon as!!!
4) The Kukri gear has all arrived, so can you please come pick it up with your money ASAP!!! - We need the space in the cupboards!!!
5) We've got a lot of peoples stuff lying round in the cupboards namely licences, photos and certificates... if you need to collect any of yours then can you give me an ask at one of the lesson so you can take ur crap home :)
6) Ki-Taekwondo Jackets
You may have noticed some of us wear the 'Ki' Jackets (Black ones with Red n Blue Stripes)- If anybodies interested in getting one of these then let me know!!
7) Doboks- There to be worn!!!
There seems to be a growing trend of people who constantly wear t-shirts and no belts to training sessions... (quite a few of us are guilty, me included!!)~ put simply, we have doboks for a reason and thats to wear them, so make sure you do!! It makes the club look more like a 'Taekwondo' club and less like a rabble!!
